Cancellation and Refund Policies
Our policies are designed to be fair to both the traveler and the local logistics operation.
More than 24 hours
100% refund or free rescheduling. No questions asked.
Less than 24 hours
No refund. Considered a No-Show as spots have been blocked.
1. Cancellation by the Client (24h Rule)
100% Refund: If you cancel MORE than 24 hours before the tour starts. No Refund: If you cancel LESS than 24 hours before or do not show up (No-Show), as spots and logistics have already been paid for.
2. Cancellation due to Force Majeure (Weather/Authority)
If Northern Chile must cancel due to adverse weather (wind >25 knots, total cloud cover in astronomy) or park closures, the client is entitled to: a) Reschedule at no cost, or b) Total refund (100%) of the money paid.
3. Refund Timeframes
Approved refunds are processed internally within 24 business hours. Depending on your bank or payment method (Webpay/Mercado Pago), the money may take between 5 to 10 business days to reflect in your account.
